iOS 'Receipt is invalid' Megathread

If you’re here, it’s probably because you’ve encountered an active issue related to Apple’s receipt verification.RevenueCat relies upon Apple’s `verifyReceipt` endpoint which is currently facing an outage: https://developer.apple.com/system-status/This seems to be affecting sandbox and TestFlight purchases only at this time, although Apple’s status page doesn’t mention it explicitly.Encountering this issue? Post below ⬇️ RevenueCat isn’t able to resolve this at this time from our end, but it may help bring awareness and ease to other developers facing the same issue.Update 2/8/23 19:20 UTC:Customers (and me 😃) reporting things are working as expected again - post below if you’re still having trouble, seems like a slow rollout of a fix from Apple.Update 2/8/23 17:40 UTC:Apple’s reporting the issue is fixed, but we’re still encountering errors. Will provide another update as soon as possible.

Hello, since Tauri v2 now builds iOS/Android apps, and it doesn’t have any In App Purchase support/plugin, it’s possible to implement RevenueCat in Tauri?

Unable to re-purchase inapp packages

I am trying to repurchase IAP item via the paywall. My paywall offers user with subscription as well as non subscription options. However, if the user has already purchased it once, the paywall do not allow user to purchase it again. It logs error message “ Ignoring purchase request for already subscribed package” How can I make this possible?

React native paywalll condensed footer coming soon?

hello revenue cat and friends, i’ve been using the RC paywall for the last month and I wanted to make my own custom paywall now and use the footer version to add my own custom scrollview above it.. but the only problem is I cant seem to use the condensed view in React native.Is there any plans on this coming to React native revenue cat customers soon?would love to see condensed option in React native library for revenue cat paywalls :)

Update subscriber attribute's IP address

Hi! We’re trying to get the subscriber’s IP Address & Country Code more frequently from the rev cat webhook and had a few questions around that. Looking at the docs (https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/customers/customer-attributes), it looks like we can update either `$ipAddress` or an `$ip` property.Which one of these properties would actually show up in the subscriber attributes section of a webhook request? Does it accept IPv6 or does it only accept IPv4 formats? I read in another doc that country code is automatically pulled from the IP. Which one of those properties is looked at when calculating the country code?Thanks for the help!Best,Kevin

Google Play Console Internal Testing

Hello community 👋 I have my app only in internal testing track in Google Play Console. Is it possible to start integration with RevenueCat at this stage? I.e. when my app at internal testing track at Google Play Console. For some reason FlutterFlow guide mentions closed track for Revenue Cat integration. But to promote my app to closed testing from internal testing Google now asks details about paid part of my app, also Google wants to review my app before promoting to closed track. How to check active entitlements using API

Is there any way using the v1 (or v2) API to check more directly whether an entitlement is active? The SDK has something like if !customerInfo!.entitlements.active.isEmpty but it seems like the API just returns something like: "entitlements" : { "premium" : { "expires_date" : "2024-04-23T14:43:37Z", "grace_period_expires_date" : null, "product_identifier" : "monthly", "purchase_date" : "2024-04-23T14:38:37Z" } when hitting the GET /subscriber endpoint. This means I have to check the expires_date against Date.now() or something like that which feels clunky rather than having the attribute calculated directly on the API.

Do I have to archive iOS app before products show up?

Neither Purchases.getCustomerInfo or Purchases.getProducts display the products.I did the Entitlements and Products on App Store Connect first and then imported them so I know the names are correct. I made a paywall with localisations for multiple languages. Now I would like to “experiment” with some changes on this paywall but it is “life” in my app.Is there any way to duplicate a paywall (to use it for another offering) and experiment with changes on it?I dont want to make the second paywall from scratch.

Confused about entitlements, products and offerings for tiered feature sets

Hello. I’m a bit confused about how to organize everything and was hoping to get some tips for best practices.My app has:Three subscription tiers (Are these “entitlements”?) Basic Pro Platinum Two subscription types for each platform: Monthly and annually (Are these “products” ?) android_basic_monthly, ios_basic_monthly android_basic_annaul, ios_basic_annual android_pro_monthly, ios_pro_monthly ...and so on Feature sets in each tier that inherit features from lower tiers (Are these “offerings”?) Basic: Remove ads, custom avatar Pro: All Basic features plus Feature A, Feature B, Feature C Platinum: All Basic and Pro features plus Feature D and Feature E If the feature sets for each tier are not offerings, then how are they represented in a Revenuecat payload/metada and where can I manage them on Revenuecat?

Can't get purchases when play console review happens - Flutter/Android

Im using RevenueCat Flutter package to implement subscriptions . When i’ve uploaded a build to the internal testing track on Google Play Console and added myself as a tester everything works perfectly and i can subscribe. However when i’ve uploaded the exact same build to production, the app review team are seeing the attached error message. Anyone got any ideas why this is happening?
