Modifying Purchases.sharedInstance.finishTransactions when necessary: Is it Safe?

I'm implementing subscriptions in my app using RevenueCat; however, I had already implemented consumable products, validating them on my server.When I added RevenueCat to the project, I noticed that when a consumable product was purchased, it was automatically consumed, and when the user visited the purchase verification screen (to consume it and gain the content), an error occurred on my server because the purchase had already been consumed by RevenueCat.I discovered that I can use Purchases.sharedInstance.finishTransactions = false to handle consumable logic as before. However, by doing this, I'll need to manage subscription logic on my server as well, and that's not what I want.After running some tests, I think I found a way to handle this. Let me explain what I did:When I initialize RevenueCat, I call Purchases.sharedInstance.finishTransactions = false. Rationale behind non-consumable purchases on Google Play?

I’m new to RevenueCat and am looking into how I can migrate my existing app’s non-consumable in-app purchases to RevenueCat.I know this type of question has been asked several times, but none of the answers really answered my questionSo far, I’ve looked at using syncPurchases() but as stated in the documentation:Google Play Store does not provide an option to mark IAPs as consumable or non-consumable. RevenueCat's SDK will consume all Android IAPs upon purchase.To replicate the behavior of a non-consumable IAP for Android users, you must ensure your user will not offered the IAP after the initial purchase. Hey Everyone, The Problem: Paywall looks great, is super easy to implement, BUT seems easy to bypassThe issue is when you runContentView() .presentPaywallIfNeeded(requiredEntitlementIdentifier: "standard")you get a great UI on the iOS paywall, but the user can swipe down and go to ContentView() for free, or press the ‘close button’ x in the upper right hand corner and get to the ContentView for free. This issue was raised here a few months ago, but there does not seem to be a solution yet. Sandbox (Expo) popup re-appears (loop) after I hit subscribe, no record in Revenuecat, why?

I created this app with Expo and made a couple of offerings with Revenuecat. Now I want to test it. The packages appear,I hit subscribe, The popup appears, I write password and hit subscribe, It says done (without the tick appearing, just a circle) and the whole popup disappears, but after 3 seconds, the purchase popup (Sandbox) reappears again and again. No matter how many times I hit subscribe, it says done and re-appears. There is no record of subscription in my Revenuecat account (yes the sandbox checkbox ticked), and I have registered a sandbox user (valid email with a password) on App Store users. I’m very new to Sandbox testing and I use iOS simulator (17). Does anyone know what to do form here? Checked the Internet and not much was found. Does RevenueCat Events on MixPanel change User Location to RevenueCat server location?

Hello all!It’s been more than a year since we notice that all the users that had a Profile Location of Ashburn, Virginia, US had a wrong location information. There is something that is changing our users location to Ashburn and is not us.We’ve reviewed this issue with our tech team and none of the events that we send from our server are changing the users location. We have also identified, with the help of MixPanel’s Support team that this location changes when a RevenueCat event is sent to our MixPanel.I’m using this channel because RevenueCat’s Support team takes weeks to answer and I wanted to know if there are more cases like us out there so that we can push together to get this fixed.We use MixPanel as our source of truth and we have many cases of with this issue, specially hurts because we are running a paid marketing campaign and we don’t really know if the new subscribed users are comming from the US or if they are more Ashburn cases. I know we can filter them, but that’s not

How to delete a sandbox user??

Hi All,We have all read the documents on how to delete a sandbox user, but couldn’t find an exact solution. We see 4 active users which are our tests https://prnt.sc/dxie0_1PhtCO , but cannot see or delete these users and cannot test our subscriptions from these devices. And stuck with it. :( Also cannot click and select this sandbox data https://prnt.sc/gMjo7P8ldX5z We also couldn’t find from the dashboard https://www.revenuecat.com/docs/dashboard-and-metrics/customer-history/manage-users where the manage users menu is 😥So if anyone can help it will be really appreciated 🙏

Unable to fetch offering on real device when using Storekit file

Hello, I’m having really a weird problem that i cant seems to find a solution for it.So i followed the docs and i duplicated the scheme and and i use storekit for 1 scheme and the other no. when i use storekit file i can do purchases on simulator and the products are fetched but not on real device. but when i dont i can fetch the offering on my real device and make purchase but i cant make purchase on simulator. thats why our app got rejected i’m really confused. anyone can help please?

Always get USD when using package.storeProduct.currencyCode

Hi, experts,I have iOS app and would like to show currency by using RevenueCat SDK (package.storeProduct.currencyCode). I have set up currency and price in Apple Store such as below, product/entitlement/offering in RevenueCat and so on so forth. But I can only get USD instead of TWD.Do I need to set up or miss anything in Apple Store? Or that SDK is not the right one to use?Please advise. Thank you.Regards,Joey

v1/subscribers endpoint returns empty entitlements - But iOS App SDK finds the entitlements

Hey,I am trying to access a user’s entitlements via the API (I am using the sandbox environment, i.e. I am using Xcode to simulate purchases).But I always get empty entitlements in the response and I’m not sure why.
